I think Sunak is one of those people who does have a bit of a national interest in mind. He's, I'm not sure what his private expectations are of the next election. But even though I must know, it's highly realistic, he ends up being prime minister for two years at tops. And I think he'll want to know that he tried to do some of the right things. If he really wanted to leave some sort of sabotage behind, he would be making much more positive noises towards tax cuts. The Treasury itself, under Jeremy Hunt, but actually through a gradual period of evolution has become much more of a proactive, more industrial strategy kind of place.
