Jerry Garcia's voice is what makes a guitar play. When Eric Clapton hits a chord, it's Eric Clapt on. David Gilmore when Randy Rhodes, yeah, it's a chord. That's what makes the outstanding and comedy. I wish that I would have gotten into the dead when I was 19 instead of 26. Same with me now. It took a long time when I saw the nuts and bolts. But what kills me about the dead is I didn't have time to go as deep as I wanted into them. Oh, 10th Avenue Free South. That ain't free south, baby. You know why?
