The Church Can't Be an Expert on Science, Politics, Nutrition, or on Any Other Subject

Michm mich main is a gay man, and so he certainly has had to do his fair share of wrestling that the church cannot be an authority on all things science. He says this, i no longer expect my church, its leaders or its members to be perfect, including me. Instead, i recognize it for what it is intended to be, one of the many spiritual pathways to our lord. The fact that they are a, they sort of set themselves up as experts and authorities without the scientific background, is something that i think we are all having to show a lot of patience and grace for.
