The Legacy of Nietzsche
Dostoevsky and Kierkegaard are seen as the godfathers of existentialism. They're both also, interestingly, Christians. Later existentialists would be explicitly atheistic. And so to think of those two things as sort of melding together in some ways and then producing existentialism is incredibly interesting.
