How I Got Interested in Mumblecore

When you first started acting with roles in movies like Hannah Takes the Stairs and Knights and Weekends, critics kind of just put you into this like Mumblecore scene. And one critic even said that your calling card was seemingly unrehearsed screen presence. Like did it ever make you want to push back against that perhaps? Or like the expectations that had suddenly been put on you as someone at the forefront of Mumblecore? Yes. I didn't really ever set out to be the forefront ofMumblecore.
