The Neo-Lockian Line of Memory

A person can't be the same person because they've got different bodies. One's got cancer, one hasn't. But on locks criteria they are thesame person because they both got the same memories. So those working in lock tradition have therefore broadened that to think in terms of not just memory but criss-crossing overlapping psychological continuity and connectedness. What we have is a stream of different kinds of interrelated psychological states and those are what constitute that in a person's through time.
