Microservice Patterns - Is There an Agreed Upon Set of Best Practices?

When the book design patterns came out some 20 years ago, i believe the authors did not see themselves as really originating these ideas. They were more documenting solutions to problems that had been discovered and improven selves over time. So it's sort of a way of structuring something that has existed out the already. And then kind of trying to distil down a description of the solution, but also describe the benefits and the drawbacks of that particular approach.
