The State of Near Liberalism

Liberalism has turned on itself, argues the author. It's a doubling down or taking too far off an emphasis on autonomy and individualism - which is carto e liberal tradition. But that's undermining itself in a certain kind of way,' he says. And so it also means that collective action becomes a lot less possible. The other reaction is to say we are not these suppressed individuals but members of suppressed groups.
