The Changelog: Software Development, Open Source

CHAPTER

The Social Contract of Open Source

The social contract of open source is making sure everyone treats each other with respect and just basely being kind to each other. If someone comes into a project and stearts to chastise you or be rude to you orian just basely abuse you. I mean, it really does come down to psychological abuse. It leads to burnout, right? Lirly people just have to walk away for their own mental safety to be able to keep doing open source. And i'm trying to get out that message so hopefully we can all kind of step back and make this work.
