Just as today, the Chinese regime does not look with much happiness upon the Arab Spring or the so-called Jasmine Revolution. I believe the word Jasmine is blocked by the Great Firewall of China in internet searches. The subject is both interesting in its context of 1989, and it's also interesting more generally because it helps us to speculate about what's happening now inside the party"
