There was a real effort to go beyond the workers movement. We see this in rejections of critiques of work, right? And I get into this a little bit in wages for housework and the National Welfare Rights Organization. But then something else happens quite dramatically, which is in the mid 1970s, global capitalism entered a very serious crisis.
