A Brief History of the Hotel Teresa

The teresa was a meeting place for many civil rights organizations during the 19 fifties and sixties. The hotel had already become a quick stop for presidential candidates looking to make out reach to the african american vote. During world war two, the headquarters for the march on washington movement was located at the hotel teresa. By the 19 forties, labor vist a philip randolph was already one of the most familiar and effective leaders of the civil rights movement.
