Fixed Frequency Oscillators
Max Katz: Most processes in the world produce light at many different wavelengths. But there are some things that do produce light as a frequency, like laser pointers. Fixed frequency oscillations of atoms emit light at specific wavelengths. This allows them to stay narrow over great distances and be focused. The devices that use them need stable, accurate signals.
