Astronomers have detected a radio heartbeat in billions of light years from earth. It's the first time that this signal itself is periodic, they say. A single f r b can pack enough energy that would be the output of our sun over the course of a hundred years. They're happening all over the sky as well, a thousand times in any 24 hour period.
