The Power of Connection
I tell all my yoga teachers in our yoga teacher training to make your message because it's more authentic. Nobody wants to just hear your triumph like Spider-Man and Batman are a little bit more popular than Superman, right? And there's a reason that the best stories always have the biggest struggles and the biggest challenges to overcome. So I guess growing up, I was adopted by a nice family that didn't necessarily understand my trauma. And so it was kind of just never spoken about, kind of covered up. It wasn't until I came to yoga that I started tuning into that connection to everybody else.
