The Graham Bond organization got a new manager, Robert Stigwood. The first single under Stigwood's management was a cover version of the theme tune to the Debbie Reynolds film, Tammy. They released a non-album single, Lee's On Love, which is generally considered to be the first pop record to feature a melodron. Their first album, The Sound of 65, was recorded in a single three-hour session.
