The Future of Spaceships
According to Star Wars canon, what looks like glass in those ships is actually a fictional material called Transparasteal. In kind of my ideal design, I would start with Battlestar Galactica, and I would put all the human occupied spaces in the middle. The most iconic ships in sci-fi are often made of basic geometric shapes.
