The Revolt of the Peasants

The peasants staged intermittent revolts after 15 25 too. They wanted changes to the social and economic order, such as an abolition of serfdom. Within just weeks, the uprising was put down with huge loss of life. From our modern point of view, it's hard not to think that this was a case where the bad guis won.
