Marianne Linn: I'm really happy you're here today to share with us your experience of several decades of singing and teaching chant, especially to young people. The two chales that I can recall hearing and singing along with to some extent, growing up were the pange lingua and the simple unused day from the requiem or the composite mass you be latte dale in college. As time went by, I remember thinking like, gee, these things seem to be not suited to their environment. And I remember thinking, I wish I could be part of this music in the prayerful setting in which it was intended.
