The Purpose of the Exodus and Israel's Call to Serve Him
The Lord says he's going to deliver his people so that they can serve him. The Lord is making himself known and his power known in these plagues. This is in a sense answering Pharaoh's question back in 5.2, who is Yahweh? All through these chapters, we're going to see again and again that Yahweh intends to make himself known.
