The Unofficial Theater in Sengor

Senegalese theater is often seen as part of the national tradition. But there are other forms that are perhaps more local and less centralized, such as Bambho Mosham's troupe in Kowdak. The D'Atre National de Angel Sorano was founded by President Sengor around 1965 to bring together students from different conservatories. It became a very successful company but also an outlet for people who didn't have access to state-funded theaters at the time.
