In exchange for 11 million undocumented immigrants getting a pathway to citizenship, increased boarder security. The reason why so many people try to cross the border illegally is because they can't do so legally. So i think it's fair and reasonable from a purely political perspective,. But from actually getting operational control over the border, i think it misses the mark.
