The Differences Between Received Pronunciation and BBC English
People from a working class background tend to speak with the regional accent. Received pronunciation or RP is also known as BBC English and Queen's English. If you're middle class, you're more likely to speak standard received pronunciation like me. And if you're upper class, you are more likely to speaking heightened RP or posh English.
