The Importance of Committing to Change

The principles of PDS apply to any form of humans coming together to make progress. The job as a coach is to enable the athlete to become clear on what it is that they want to achieve or need to achieve, and then work together to achieve that goal. And the same with a coach. It's them committing to their change. We're just supporting there within our endurance frameworks, they've support and challenge, but they need to agree it. Then we can set our UAs against that and coaches should be doing the same with athletes. But importantly, everything when we're looking at intervention of change should be happening in the moment, not after the action,.
