Cappellus and Polomarkus Are Not Athenians, Right?
Cappellus and Polomarkus are not Athenians. They're what are called medics, which means just metoykoi,. And it's the Greek term for a foreign resident or an alien. Cappellus was brought in by Pericles as an arms manufacturer. He had a factory. Both he and Polomarks is more religious than anybody else in the dialogue. So you get types but also historical context to add color to it.
