Babur's Battle of Bajar

Babur's forces used matchlock guns and ballista in attack on Bajar. Matchlock guns have a slow-burning fuse that's attached to a metal clasp which is controlled with a trigger mechanism. The defenders of Bajar were not familiar with this sound, but they were not afraid of it either. Babur ordered all of the men in the city executed and the women and children taken as slaves. This was somewhat strange considering that Babur was fighting Muslims.
