The Importance of Meaningful Learning

I think something breaks down when we don't see the learning as meaningful isn't it. I've got a really good friend who is the most amazing patch worker and she will not accept that she's any good at maths now you just look at what she creates. We've actually have run a session with children with her bringing her quilts and talking about them mathematically or I've talked on they can see the work that goes into it.
