Is Mud Being Flung Yet?

There is still a lot of mud being flung privately, rather than into cameras and microphones. What we're getting in public now is at least a variation on what we as journalists get privately the rest of the time. The big political parties are broad churches, aren't they? Th they contain pretty wide ranges of opinions within. And what you see in a leadership race are all of those usually private, discreet whispers about policy direction or whatever, bursting out in public. But also then loaded with personal ambition and then so acrimony in the direction of some where they may felt that somebody has slighted them in the past, or beaten them to this job, or not hired them for that job
