The Sandbox of Exploration

For me, you need structure for the exploration to be meaningful. Like all the sonic games are very sandboxy. A huge amount of the joy in them is just mucking about. People really struggle with that, don't they? They do. Of a certain generation. And I'm not saying this to be like, oh, God, there's a zoom as, you know, and I'm not trying to be like that. We're just an old man in this fandom. You know, everything about our perspective and opinion has been roundly and thoroughly rejected by the world.
