World Cup Finals - Did France's Subs Have an Impact?

This is the first time we've had five subs in a World Cup. It's almost a completely different sport now. They just bring on so many players so often. And I think that's probably what certainly kept the tempo of the game very high because if you have three subs and all the players exhausted it kind of winds down into nothing. Michael for the last five World Cup finals have gone to extra time. This one perhaps the most exciting for the neutral both teams with genuine intent to win the game was quite refreshing.
