The Impermanent, Constrained Nature of Consciousness

In these teachings of the aggregates, the Buddha gives a special emphasis to understanding the impermanent, conditioned nature of consciousness. So just as an example, seeing consciousness arises when four causes are present. And if any of these four causes are missing, seeing consciousness is not going to arise. Consciousness arises out of conditions.
