A Call to Defend Ideals of Freedom and Civility

This gargantuan tragedy should serve as a wake up call. Charlie possessed many laudable qualities including kindness, intelligence, an unflappable drive, and a desire to debate ideas peacefully, among countless wonderful traits. His assassination is an attack on all of us. It is a direct attack on the foundational values of the United States.
