Isn't the Response to Tethering Accuracy and Fitness Too Closely Together?
Many people think that religion evolved for a useful, adaptive trait. But i don't see the problem here in holding those two facts together. Our visual systems are not a perfect, veritical representation of what's out there in the world. And i believe it's the latter, and i believe that religious sense in us evolved to be in touch with that reality. Can i prove that? I cannot prove that. That is one of these things like a, you know, that's that religious faith statement. It's about a third cognitive, it's about aThird sheer hope.
