The Story Teller's Fountain
Two thousand five marked the bicentennial of anderson's birth in denmark. The city commissioned a large piece of art work from a local sculptor named yen calchut. It was called the story teller's fountain, and featured anderson sitting at the edge of a pool of water surrounded by hundreds of characters from his stories. A year after it was pulled out of the water, it reappeared back in that same place in oden's harbor. Galshut had heard that people missed seeing hans down there, so he had a reproduction installed.
