Analytic Theology and the Image of God
i hope that this volume shows that scripture can be integrated well into analytic theology just as much as it can be into other theological enterprise. I think we need to do the same thing for our academic brothers and sisters in the biblical studies guild. It is annoying to me how many theologians, both analytic and not, don't refer to what has been largely a consensus in the last 50 odd years for what the ancient, near eastern context of the image of god would have. And so i'm thinking of dan howard snyder and dan mccunna's essay on faith. Or hilary yansey's essay on disability,. Some great little studies of some vignettes
