The Effects of Sugar on Uric Acid Levels

If you eat shrimp every day, even though you're not eating a lot of other foods, you can get fat from it just because it's going to make you crave and seek out more calories. The uric acid then, so it's a little bit complicated, but you know, fructose generates uric acid. And the uric acid can cause this oxidative stress and lower the ATP in the cell. If you eat a lot of foods that raise uric acid that are not sugar, you can still suppress the mitochondria. It amplifies and stimulates more production of fructose from glucose. So it sort of acts like salt.
