Would You Still Engage a Partner if It Was One Hire?

If it's one hire, I'd still use a partner. Some people just can't handle the cost. It doesn't have to cost you anything. You don't need to retain them. If they're all director of VP level, I categorically go to partner or partners and get them to show you who they think is best. That will happen hugely as a director of VP role at your business.
