The Jewish Philosophers of the Islamic World

Book is trying to broaden the scope of what we think of as relevant for this story. So far we've been talking mostly about Aristotelian philosophers, like Avasana Varyuis and Kendi. But I make a big deal in the book about the fact that Islamic theology can be thought of as a philosophical tradition in its own right. With Saadiya it's much more a case of influence from Kalam, whereas in Maimonides is much more a cases of influence from Al-Farabi.
