I'm interested to see if you think Hitchens fits this mold to some extent. He was quite a strong Marxist in his younger years of the revolutionary Friday. And then towards later in life, people would have put him more towards the at least neoconservative line during the Iraq war and that kind of thing. But I'm curious about that journey. Like, how does somebody go from at about left as to Marxist type to what Hitchens did later in life under mean, consistent, underlying it?
