Security Issues With Sensitive Documents
This is the earliest example we have of this sort of thing. The romans made use of a substitution cipher in whicha your symbols are replaced by new symbols, usually via a certain algorithm. This was exactly the system that julius caesar used. We just live in a completely different environment when it comes to the sensitivity of document contents. It's a lot harder to keep a lid on things to day, right? But assuming you trust the person who's actually looking at the document not to take pictures of it and share them with whoever, there are tools available to day that, i guess we're not using yet.
