The Future of Libraries in the Post-Pandemic Era
LZ: What do you think will happen to libraries in the post-pandemic era where education becomes more and more online? LZ: We had something kind of like DoorDash. During the pandemic, a lot of people could not go to libraries. They were closed. The Internet Archive, a great San Francisco institution, put all kinds of books online so that people could check them out virtually, electronically. And they just lost a terrible copyright lawsuit.
