The Black Sea Grain Initiative and the Role It Played in the Last Six Months
The Black Sea Grain Deal was brokered by the United Nations in Turkey back in July 2022. It helped to reduce grain exports and other foodstuff experts from Ukrainian courts to the world. Ukraine got increased its anti-ship missile capabilities with the help of the Western partners. The deal consisted of two parts: assurances from both Russia and Ukraine that there would be no attacks on merchant ships involved in the export of grain from Ukrainian ports.
