COVID - The Fed's Rescue
The Fed is trapped in a position in which it essentially has to accommodate the shocks from the president's nationalist efforts to disassemble the global economy. In a sense, COVID has come to the Fed's rescue, because with COVID, they're all on the same page. The big bazooka, the big shock and all type policies begin to be rolled out from the 15th of March. I think they're probably quite drunk on the scale of the programs they've initiated.
