Tapas - The Book of Peace, Greed and Ignorance
The book of peace calls the state of soul recommended here tapas, which makes it sound as though enlightenment is available at any good spanish restaurant. But in fact, tapas means something like spiritual austerity. One who lives wisely and with self control, treads softly upon the earth as the track of birds the sky or a fowl over the surface of water cannot be discerned. Such a life has the drawback that such a person is regarded by others as weak and simple. Even this downside is no side at all, or at least not one that will bother the danta, or tamed one. His state is one of perfect prashama, or tranquillity.
