There's no right answer to this question, but if you had like gun to your head, you would pick the third one. We know that people with split brains seem to have two streams of consciousness. It is a fact that you can survive with half of brain. So this is why this may be a difference between you and me. I don't have really good reason to think that other than pure physical continuity.
