The Unfashionable Relationship Between Dionysius and Apollonius
Heidegger's obsessive study of the past is having a toxic effect on his historical present and on the force of life. For him, the threefold relationship to history is a way that takes that past and most puts it in the service of life. And I think that's something parallel to what Heidegger's destruction is doing, digging down to that source out of which Aristotle's concepts were created.
