LZ Granderson: We can become so sophisticated in the way we go about ministry that we stop talking about our hearts, our weaknesses. LZ: A mature church is always in grave danger of becoming so sophisticated in their walk with Christ that we forget how the Lord brought us there in the work. The later Paul was in his Christian life, the longer he was in Christ, the more his description of his own Christianity was, I'm now the chief of sinners. He stopped loving the way they once did some 30 years prior. It's almost like you don't deal with those things anymore. But actually that's not the case. You just get to the point where we're sophisticated
