The Importance of Marking Time in the Church Calendar
Lent is a way of reclaiming the church calendar as it's essentially about, it's not about tradition. It's about trying to keep Jesus at the center of the way you mark time. We have had various confessions and prayers on Sundays and have marked our sermon series in the last decade through this Lenten season so it's been great for our church.
