The Cost of an Apprenticeship
The average apprenticeship costs $4,000 to start. The cost is related to the classroom instruction and mentorship that goes along with hiring a new employee. Once an apprentice has been hired by their employer, they are paid for through wages. It actually is pretty cost effective if we're breaking down the cost of going into the traditional post secondary education route and then going into apprenticeship program.
