i found i naturally started doing when my son was born, is it be three a m i'd be furious that he's up crying. That was triggering suffering, and then that suffering leading to far greater meaning. There's some quote by seneca: You can take suffering now and just endure it. And this is now, maybe unchosen suffering,. Your kid middle night with colic um. But sometimes, for both chosen suffering and unchosen suffering, you could turn it into a narrative. It illustrates how much of what goes on is a matter of framing as no matter how you think about it.

Paul Bloom is a professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto. He was also the Brooks and Suzanne Ragen Professor of Psychology and Cognitive Science at Yale University . Paul studies how children and adults make sense of the world, with a focus on pleasure, morality, religion, fiction, and art.
